One of my favorite restaurants in New York - Swedish progressive cooking in a modern atmosphere. Men will need a jacket. Not vegetarian, but the veggie items they make me are amazing.

Delicious RAW food near Union Square - don't expect great wine and the "pasta" is made of roots, but it's a fun evening out on the terrace in summertime.

A zen feel pervades this Korea-town Korean veggie refuge. Relax and have a delicious bowl of porridge. Be sure to try the rice bowl with 9 different varieties!

Not for vegetarians! The prix-fixe tasting menu will set you back $350, but it's cheaper than a flight to Tokyo.

Vatan is my favorite Indian restaurant. There is no menu. You just sit down and they serve stuff - you have no idea what it is. It just keeps coming. You can have as much as you like. At some point, you notice it's all vegetarian.

With an unmatched view of Central Park and a powerhouse wine selection, this asian stunner pleases business dealers and romantics alike.

At various locations around New York, it's almost as good as they serve in East Jerusalem.
